Member Officer Support Network
The network exists to help officers involved in member support in its widest sense, including Democratic and civic services and member development. The network promotes the sharing of best practice, and meetings will generally focus on a limited number of topics selected previously by the group
Members of the group often take a lead in presenting these topics for discussion. The meetings also provide the opportunity for participants to update each other with developments within their authority that would be of interest to the group, and there is also the opportunitiy to use the meetings as a forum to discuss regional and national developments impacting on members and member services.
