Getting to grips with the new Comprehensive Area Assessment

Description

Improvement East, together with the East of England Regional Member Development Network, is holding two regional events to support elected Members in engaging with their role in the new way of assessing performance in an area. Getting to the bottom of what CAA will really mean for Councillors.
 
By attending these events Members and relevant officers will be able to:
¨      Hear from the Audit Commission and elected Members
¨      Engage in group discussions
¨      Take part in a question & answer session
¨      Network with colleagues
 
Both events will provide an overview of CAA and role Members have to play, as well as having particular focuses on equalities and use of resources within CAA.
 
Who should attend:
Elected Members from all authorities and Member Support Officers.
 
There is no fee for these events. However, please be aware that a fee of £40 will be charged if you fail to attend without advising us, in recognition that you will have prevented others from attending.
