Regional Planning Panel Standing Committee
Set up to exercise the specific new functions given to the Assembly as the Regional Planning Body, the Regional Planning Panel's Standing Committees will:
- Certify that local development documents are in general conformity with the East of England Plan.
- Comment on behalf of the Assembly as the Regional Planning Body, on large scale strategic planning applications submitted to the relevant planning authority.
Terms of reference for, and membership of the panels are available by using the links at the side of the page.
Meetings are required every four weeks in order to comply with planning consultation deadlines. EERA has therefore established four standing committees which meet on a twelve week cycle and consist of seven members each.
