2. East of England Housing Statement 2010-14 - Consultation Draft
The current Regional Housing Strategy expires in Spring 2010. To ensure continuity beyond then, regional partners1 have commissioned Arup to develop the East of England Housing Statement to articulate the region’s strategic housing priorities.
This consultation has been prepared by Arup and is very much a work in progress. It builds on consultation during the autumn and the wide range of views and messages gathered as part of that process are presented in each of the seven chapters. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who contributed to that initial stage. This next stage in the process is another opportunity for you to help shape the document. We welcome your views on all aspects of the consultation, but in particular the Recommended Priorities which are set out in each chapter and summarised in Chapter 8 with the consultation questions.
The consultation will close at 5.00 p.m. on Friday, 22nd January, 2010.
