Developing regional strategies
To help achieve the overarching goal of improving the quality of life in the East of England, a suite of regional strategies has been developed by the Assembly and its partners.
The strategies provide guidance and targets for organisations delivering public services within the East of England and have all been developed through public consultation and co-operation with regional and local partners.
The East of England Plan (Regional Spatial Strategy) and Regional Economic Strategy are particularly influential.
The Assembly also published an Integrated Sustainability Framework with partners in January 2009.
