How to find us
By car
Flempton House is situated in Flempton village on the A1101 five miles from Bury St Edmunds on the Mildenhall road and two and a half miles north of the A14 at Risby.
From Cambridge on the A14
Take the exit signposted Risby and Saxham. After approximately one mile, turn left into Risby and continue through village towards Flempton. Just before Flempton crossroads take the first access road on your right to Flempton House.
From Ipswich on the A14
If you leave the A14 at the Risby exit, continue straight across at the first junction and follow the road that takes you over the A14. At the junction turn right into Risby. Follow the directions from Risby above.
If you take the Bury St. Edmunds (West) exit, take the B1106 signposted Brandon. After approximately 2 miles, turn left at Fornham All Saints roundabout onto A1101 Bury to Mildenhall road. Continue through Hengrave to Flempton. Turn left at Flempton crossroads and take the second access road on your left to Flempton House.
From Barton Mills and the A11
Take the A1101 towards Bury St. Edmunds passing through Icklingham and Lackford. Turn right at Flempton crossroads and take the second access road on your left to Flempton House.
Car parking
Once on the access road continue round to Flempton House ignoring the left fork for Candlemass Barn and that for the adjacent cottage.
There are two car parks - one before you reach the house and one to the right of the house alongside the main road.
Disabled parking is located around the back of Flempton House.
By public transport
Train
The nearest railway station is Bury St Edmunds, approximately 4.5 miles away.
Bus
There is an hourly bus services from Bury St Edmunds bus station to Flempton, departures are at 20 minutes past the hour, with arrival in Flempton at 33 minutes past the hour. Return buses depart at 28 minutes past the hour.The bus from Bury St Edmunds to Flempton stops on Station Hill near the train station.
